Worle Interpretation Board

We installed our fourth Interpretation Board to commemorate the WC&PR, at Worle. On Weds 21 October 2015 the board was unveiled by Richard Wyatt, former local ITV presenter and Worle resident, watched by a substantial crowd of Group members and Worle History Society members, even though it was a wet and windy day.

The WC&P Railway Group and Worle History Society jointly funded the board.

We have also installed boards at Portishead, Clevedon, Ebdon Lane area, and Weston-super-Mare.

In addition we have designed four boards, funded by North Somerset Council, which are installed along the new Greenway path at: Mud Lane, River Yeo (north), River Yeo (south), and Wick St Lawrence station site.
