Clevedon Interpretation Board

We installed our third Interpretation Board to commemorate the WC&PR, at Clevedon. On Weds 11 June 2014 the board was unveiled by Jemma Cooper, BBC local weather girl, watched by a crowd of supporters. This board was temporarily removed but in December 2014 was re-erected on legs, as the original wall fixings were insufficient.

The WC&P Railway Group is grateful for funding from Clevedon Town Council towards this signage.  

We have also installed boards at Portishead, Ebdon Lane area, Worle and Weston-super-Mare.

In addition we have designed four boards, funded by North Somerset Council, which are installed along the new Greenway path at: Mud Lane, River Yeo (north), River Yeo (south), and Wick St Lawrence station site.
